In the shadow of divine blessings and with the efforts of all colleagues in the successful organization of the first International Congress of Biomarkers in February 2023 and the first International and the fourth National Symposium of Patient Safety in June 2023 by the Research and Technology Department of the Urmia University of Medical Sciences, we are proud to host the twenty-fifth National and the eleventh International Annual Congress of Medical Sciences Students in 2024.
Research is pivotal in both insuring public health and improving the scientific status of a society. In this regard, your role as young students, researchers, and scholars in accessing research and technology goals in the health sector is of high importance.
Today, young researchers are the future scientific leaders of our society, and the hope of the country lies in their hands. If today our country holds scientific leadership in the region, maintaining and developing this leadership will only be possible by the efforts of dedicated students and researchers like you. We are proud of the university’s prioritization of education, research, and technology exemplified by launching the growth center of the university and doubling support for knowledge-based companies.
Conclusively, we would like to thank and congratulate the congress organizers and young researchers for holding this significant scientific event this year.
We hope that the planned programs by the scientific and executive secretaries can foster a broad perspective among students regarding the importance of their involvement in research and technology and provide targeted opportunities for those entering this field.
